DRAGON STREET

In my artistic journey, my enduring hope has been for my creations to serve as a catalyst for unity and foster a sense of community among passionate art enthusiasts and fellow artists. This profound aspiration finds its roots in the emergence of Dragon Street amidst the whirlwind of PFPs. Through my art, I aim to build bridges that connect like-minded individuals who share a deep love for creativity and self-expression. Let my creations be a testament to the power of art in forging meaningful connections and nurturing a collective spirit of creativity and expression.

Dragon Street was launched as a 333-piece art project on November 15th, 2022.

It sold out within 15 minutes.

I was interviewed by Foundation platform.

At first, I attempted to generate various layer combinations, but I was dissatisfied with the results due to frequent color imbalances. The hairstyles, clothes, accessories, backgrounds, and other elements didn't harmonize well. Consequently, I chose to manually select the layers for each piece, meticulously ensuring they complemented the specific character. My objective was to achieve fitting compositions with the finest color combinations.

My crafted series of youthful images portray a myriad of emotions - coolness, elegance, determination, happiness, sorrow, and a sense of being lost. These evocative avatars capture ephemeral emotional moments, symbolizing yet not entirely embodying oneself, as emotions are constantly shifting, and time transforms everything. When beholding these avatars, I hope viewers are reminded to perceive life's joys and sorrows from a broader perspective.

This is the inspiration behind the collection's name. "Dragon" in Chinese mythology symbolizes powerful strength, and I aim to convey that power to people. In Chinese culture, exceptional individuals are often likened to dragons. The characters depicted in the artwork are street youths, representing the journey of life's experiences. Despite differences in inner cultivation and outward appearance, we should focus on the essence. The strength emanating from their eyes, expressed through various emotions, and their anticipation for the future. This series is a wish for the goodness in people.

This series comprises 333 pieces, priced at 0.13. The number "3" (in Chinese “三”) holds special significance in Chinese traditional culture. Laozi stated, "The Tao produces one, one produces two, two produce three, and three produce all things." The "Three Forces" encompass heaven, earth, and humanity. Number 3 signifies connection, linking all things together. I aspire for the collection to serve as a connection, bridging thoughts, people, diverse cultures, and beyond.

This series was released under the official invitation of the Foundation platform and sold out within 15 minutes. Subsequently, I was also interviewed by the Foundation platform. This achievement has filled me with gratitude and excitement.

I aspire to reach a broader audience with my art and express my perspectives on various subjects. If my work can evoke emotions, feelings, or inspire more artists to create, that's what would bring me the greatest joy.
